A soft fleece cover is included FREE with your Heated Pet Bed and still allow its heat to radiate properly.  It is important to avoid covering with dense blanket-like materials that hold in the heat, as that may damage the internal thermostat.  Available in small, medium, and large.  Fleece cover is machine washable.  The UL-Approved cord is teel spring wrapped to help prevent chewing.

• Measure your pet lying down (nose or front legs to back legs or rump-whatever is normal position for your dog lying down), then add 9'' to 12" for stretching out

In general, we believe that measuring your pet lying down as he is normally accustomed to lying, is the best way.  Measure from the nose or front legs, to the back legs or rump;  add 9" to 12" for stretching out.  Pick the size of the bed that will best fit those measurements.
